get 760 instead...760 and 660 ti are priced similarly and 760 performs slightly better...
your 450W psu is enough for 760

GTX 760 is a little more expensive in India actually. Do you care much for PhysX?
See if that is going to help you decide:

Note that for less than 20000 Rs you can get a good brand R9 270x (MSI or Sapphire), the closest GTX 660 ti to 20000 Rs is made by Gainward.
Also what resolution will you be gaming at?

its 720p , well just checked out 760 , and it requires 600w O.o , will it really gonna work ? with 450w

Theres no way the 760 needs a 600w psu. I would personally go for the 270x over the 660ti, just because I have one and I can play bf4 on Ultra 1080p at 60+ fps. But that's just my opinion.

At 720p you Don't need that much GPU Power, both the GTX 760 and R9 270x are an overkill. The r7 260x would be great for this resolution.

You don't need the R9 270x! That is an overkill at your resolution!

If that is your native resolution then then you should get the R9 270x, I think the MSI HAWK edition is a few Rs less than your budget and I heard good things about it. You are one of the few here who have 4:3 aspect ratio monitors (just like me).
Your power supply should be fine powering the R9 270x, it has a combined amperage of 30 amp on the +12v rail, while the card needs a minimum of 28A.

I just looked at the r9 270x and it seems that the card needs 2 6pin pci-e power connectors, his PSU only has 1

He can get a molex adapter. I would have advised him to get a better psu but I think he has stated in his first post that this is not possible since he just got that one.

I wouldn't recommend using an adapter, it usually means the PSU isn't designed for that kind of power consumption. I personally had a GTX 660 Ti die on me that way.

You see that was the problem, when I had that computer it was a pre built PC so they cheaped out on the PSU. The name escapes me however as I have done away with that PC for a while. For my summer build which i will be doing in May I will be using the Corsair RM750:

The best , corsair makes one of the best psu, the local psu can only take load upto 330w in 550w psu and after that ur psu will die , or ur gpu will die or ur mobo will die or ur cpu will die ,
In my case my ati 6670 dr5 died , i was using a iball local psu

I was low on my budget when i was buying my psu , otherwise i could have taken a xfx 550w

It's the worst feeling when suddenly the PC shuts of and you hear crackling from the case. I was lucky it was only the 660ti that died and not anything else.

Could have just told him to get the cheaper R9 270 non X that only needs 1 PCIe Plug and uses less watts.
