No power going to motherboard

Hi my pc has just turned off and now it wont turn on, i have checked the psu and its perfectly fine, the 24pin connector is fully down and nothing...but if i put the connector 1/3 of the way in the fans come on put when i push it fully down it goes off, i have tried everything and still no luck, please help!! T.I.A

then the problem must be in motherboard. One last thing you can do is take out all the RAM stick and then power on. If you don't hear any beeps from mobo speaker then you must give it for repairs to service center so that might fix it for you.

i have done all that, i double checked the front panel connector aswell, its a complete mystery..lol my specs are:
msi g41tm-p31,
intel celeron E3400 @ 2.60ghz,
4gb ram,
500gb hdd,
320hdd,
asus hd5450 graphic card.

i think its telling me to upgrade my system..lol.. :)

hi, i have done all of that, took the heatsink and cpu out and cleaned it, then reapplied thermal paste put it all back together and still nothing. i have tested the psu and i even changed the psu and still nothing, so i dont know what else to do?
