How far away are you from the router? Have you tried using it wired? Same thing happen then?

i am around 5 meters from my routers(the router is on the ground floor and I'm on the first floor)when i try to connect through ethernet it just tells me The connection between your access point, router, or cable modem and the Internet is broken something like that

Is this a desktop or a laptop? If you are on different floors, depending on the construction of the house, it could block a good amount of wireless signal even though you are pretty close. Ethernet should work though unless the cable or ports are bad.

Try this on the same level as the router if you can.

Another thought is to use powerline networking to extend the ethernet connection to your area. The newer powerline network devices work pretty well.

That's a good piece of info that would have saved some steps, I figured you were in separate areas.

Did you get the same wireless card as him? Update wifi drivers from the vendor?

I should probably also have said that sooner, but here the thing.as I said at the start I replaced my wifi card.i gave the old one to my brother(as he didn't have one)
And for some reasons the old wifi card (which didn't work properly on mine)worked on his.also the new card I got still wasn't working
So I don't think it's the wifi card that's the problem:(  also when i use the troubleshooter to diagnose it keeps telling me that there is a problem with wireless or access point and it says it is fixed but if i redo the test again it does the same thing and tells me that windows has fixed the problem when it obviously hasn't

You did a new Windows setup also correct? Try updating the BIOS and also make sure you are using the wireless card drivers from the vendor not the ones that came with it.

If you are in the same room and your card works in his system but not yours, that pretty much points to something in your computer. Does it work at all after you did a new Windows setup and then stop after a while or if you install anything?
