I was playing the titanfall beta at 2560x1440 with everything on high and 2x aa and 2x msaa and my gpu fluctuates between 60-80%. My cpu isn't bottlenecking since its an i5-3570 @ 4.2. Temps max out at 60 celcius for the gpu. Is this normal because the game feels like it lags, it was also doing this when it was set at 720 (i played the entire tutorial like that).

Hm, the lag you experience is micro-suttering. Your framerate is fine but I've noticed this too.
It has something to do with the mouse acceleration being turned off in the game. Try turning it on, or you could wait until they fix it.

Anyway. Great game! i love it.

Ok thanks. I never really knew what micro stuttering was until now and it's awful. Glad it's not my video card.
