Hey guys,

I'm starting to build a new config from scratch for next month.
I read that the msi lightning GTX 780 have some great potential with OC so i think I'll choose msi over the others.
But with this i read that this GPU is a little bit bigger than the other.
So here is my question, what kind of motherboard would be okay with 2 msi lightning GTX 780 ? (I'm not planning to get both at the same time)

CPU: i5 4670k
i'm trying to make something as future proof as possible of course so let me know your thoughts.

Also, as PSU I chose a seasonic 750W. is it good? or should i go with a corsair instead?

Any help will be appreciated :)

And you need A 850W QUALITY power supply for 2 780's.

Both of these made by the best SEASONIC.

perfect motherboard for any overclocking stuff would be Asus. Asus Maximus VI Hero, might be the one you should be looking at for sli purpose or even with single gpu you can't go wrong with that board.
Coming to psu, what model seasonic psu are you using? Also minimum recommendation for sli gtx780 is 850watts and a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 56 Amps or greater and that has at least two 6-pin and two 8-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

Yup, Maximus IV Hero would be my choice. And as aforementioned, you will need a high quality PSU that is 850w or more. I recommend Corsair HX or AX, XFX, and the high-end line of SeaSonics.

I currently have this one in sight SeaSonic 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Everybody seems to agree on the Motherboard so thanks . I'll go for:
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Hero ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($197.27 @ TigerDirect)
Total: $197.27
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

Regarding the PSU, 750W won't be enough. So i guess i'm gonna look at the 850W.

Power Supply: Cooler Master V850 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($149.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $149.99

I guess this seems the better option. Any others equivalents from corsair or seasonic?
