One of the best selling Z77 boards on the market.

Sorry but ASRock Z77Extreme4 is one of the worst boards in the market. It's using pretty primitive D-PAK mosfets. Hard to believe but true. Don't even pass by it. And don't justify a board with how big it sold, ever. Also hard to believe that people are suggesting a board with D-PAK mosfets on an enthusiast forums. Sorry to say that but It's like aiding and abetting a thief :p

I'd spend around 140-150$ and get an msi z77a-gd65 or Gigabyte z77x-ud3h.

Sorry I have to disagree. It's not one of the best. Moreover it's not reliable at all for overclocking. It's using very ancient, cheap D-PAK mosfets. They are out of the game for a very long time actually, until ASRock using it on some of their boards. They have large size, they have high gate charge and high resistance. Not suitable at all for the low switching frequency reqirements of modern power designs.

How you end up with the idea that it's one of the best for overclocking? Especially with D-PAK mosfets. Sorry, no offense but I want to learn the logic here.

Update: If you don't believe me then feel free to research a bit about d-paks. None of the manufacturers, even the smaller ones like Biostar, are using these kind of cheap stuff at this price range. I know that most of the reviewers, even the most popular ones, are usually told that not removing the heatsinks to tell the truths to customers. But they can't stop us removing the heatsinks, right?

Like I said above: I'd spend around 140-150$ and get an msi z77a-gd65 or Gigabyte z77x-ud3h. Better components for overclocking all around.
