I somehow disabled monitor drivers and can't see anything to get them back. Also tried to repair win XP but again blank screen

Is there any way to switch on the graphics card drivers.
Otherwise is there a way to reinstall xp without losing access to all my programs which the old xp has access to.
Hope you can help. I don't fancy re-installing everything.
My mother board does not have onboard graphics.

If you are seeing absolutely nothing on the screen at any time from the point you switch on your PC, it is not a graphics driver problem. Most likely culprit is hardware failure - specifically the graphics card itself. Change it and you should be good to go.

But first just try changing the VGA cable - just in case that's all it needs.

Thanks for your answer. I can see the start up screen and go into bios but as soon as windows loads - Blank but I can here the da da da as windows opens. Any more ideas.

Hit F8 a few times as the system is loading, right after the BIOS screen, select Safe Mode, should start up. You can enable whatever you disabled then.
