Doesn't look too bad, no large drops on either the motherboard or the graphics card, though there were some on (but not in) the PSU and the bottom of the case. a small amount went down the back and into the 120mm fan on top of the case.

After spilling i immediately cut power to the computer and after a small amount of panic searching for what to do I removed the cmos battery and unplugged stuff from the mobo to get a better look.

I can't really see anything besides a small amount on some of the black plastic pieces on the mobo/graphics card, so i don't think its too bad, though it is a fairly new (and expensive) computer and I want to make sure everything will continue to work.

From looking at it up close with a flashlight I cant really see anything on the motherboard itself ( can see a bit on the graphics card), though I can assume that there was a bit of spray from the fan and this makes me think there are small spots on the motherboard/graphics card.

I have not cleaned with anything buy a paper towel to remove what I could see and I have not plugged the computer back in at all. Any and all help is appreciated and if you need more information I will be glad to give it.

If all is working OK, it may be better to leave it rather than chance breaking something by cleaning. Whatever spilled inside the system is no doubt dry by now any way and not an issue. But by removing the CMOS battery, you probably reset the BIOS to default. Why did you do that?

I have already removed the motherboard, I built the computer myself so i know i'm not doing it incorrectly.

I removed the cmos battery because to avoid damage caused by electricity.

I want to make sure it's as clean as i can get it before plugging it back in

I can understand. I would not like that one bit either. If it makes you feel any better, take the system apart again and GENTLY clean the spots on the MB with a safe cleaner. Same with the gfx card. But other than a slightly sticky PC, I don't think any harm was done.
