Hello!

I just bought my third monitor so I can play some surround/eyefinity on my gtx 780 SLI setup. Whilst all my three monitors are showing something on the display, the third one will not be identified. When I enter the nvidia control panel I can see that two monitors can be used for the surround, but the third one will not show and can therefore not be used for surround. I have two DVI-DVI cables and one DVI-DisplayPort cable.

Any one has any idea why I cant identify my third monitor and not use it for the surround?

I am having a similar problem. I have a Radeon HD 6850 1GB GDDR5 with twin DVI ports, one HDMI, and one DisplayPort. I currently connect to two 23" Dell monitors using the twin DVI ports. I want to connect to a third monitor, but don't know how. I understand that for 5000/6000/7000 series Radeon cards, only two legacy ports can be used at a time, so the HDMI port won't work because I already used up the twin DVI ports.

I now need to figure out how to use the DisplayPort for the third monitor. I want to connect to the wall-mounted 27" LED LCD TV through its HDMI port. Do I need to buy a DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter? How to know if it is a passive or active adapter?
