Windows 7 or 8 for gaming?

I have just recently ordered the parts for my new computer im building. However I dont know which OS would be better for me. I have read a lot of complaints about windows 8.1 having troubles with WoW and other games. Are these problems fixed, or do they still persist?

this is terrible advice. 32 bit windows is limited to around 3.25gig of ram. gaming's sweet spot is 8gig of ram. whatever version of windows you choose, make sure it's 64bit.
