This is a noob question I know. So I have Windows 7 installed at the moment on a Samsung 840 Pro 128gb SSD. I am trying to erase the drive for a fresh installation of Windows 8.1 but can't seem to use secure erase. Would it be ok just to use 8.1 dvd to install and let this remove the data for me or is it best to reformat the drive somehow. Many thanks.
