I'm contemplating doing my first ever PC build instead of buying a new console or another Mac. I've pretty much picked my CPU (i5 4670K), GPU (EVGA GTX 770 2GB), and 16GB 1866 memory, but I'm having trouble picking a Mobo since the choices seem endless. My aim for this build is to play games at as close to max settings as possible and also use it as a media center to play movies, stream Netflix, etc. I will also be leaning towards using a wireless 360 controller for any games that will accept it and wireless mouse/keyboard for others since my sitting area is about 10 feet in front of where the PC will with my other HT components (100" screen on one end of room, couch in middle, components in rear of room.)

My thoughts so far were leaning towards either the Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H or the ASUS z87-PRO. Any input would be very helpful. Trying to keep the overall budget around $1,500. Thanks!

It has a ton of features, good overclocking ability, and it's only $120. It is one of the most recommended Z87 motherboards
