Hello. I am having an issue where my computer will drop its connection to the internet for about 1-2 seconds, then it comes right back. This happens about every 30 mins to 2 hours. It seems random as to when it does it. I was running a wireless connection, switched to wired, and it still happens.
I went to the device manager and right clicked update driver software on the Qualcomm Atheros 802.11 a/b/g/n Dualband Wireless Network Module. It updated, still get disconnects. There are a few other things under network adapter. Microsoft Virtual Wifi Miniport Adapter, Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, and PdaNet Broadband Adapter, which is what i use to tether from my phone when I have internet issues. Could any of these be causing the problem?
Prior to doing the driver update, I had reformatted my computer due to the issue, but that didnt help. I dont have the issue when i am using the tethered connection
I have a 2nd computer where this is not an issue at all. Only happens on this machine.
Any suggestions before I just go buy a new network card to see if it is the issue?
