Ok, so I recently purchased Dayz Standalone to be played on my HP Pavilion laptop after checking its capability on GameDebate.
However, the game cannot run smoothly on even medium settings, and so i am curious as what I could do to help boost settings and FPS.

My laptop has: Intel® Core™ i3-3110M with Intel HD Graphics 4000 (2.4 GHz, 3 MB cache, 2 cores)

also, 8 GB DDR3 RAM/memory and 750 BG storage.

The computer was rated by GameDebate for Dayz as (out of ten) ...
7 for CPU, 4 for GFX, and 9 for RAM.

Considering this, should i upgrade the graphics card, CPU or is my computer just not good enough? Bearing in mind that I don't need 60 FPS or max settings! Much thanks in advance people! :)

Laptop hardware is soldered on to the laptop motherboard. You are stuck with the parts you get, unless you buy another pc or gaming laptop. Plus they don't sell mobile parts to the public I believe.
