Hello

I am using the asus R510D, which runs windows 8,and just yesterday did a clean installation of windows 7. Now after installing and getting some of the other drivers, I cannot find a network driver that works. Everything on the ASUS support/driver page is for windows 8 or 8.1 for the machine I have. I don't even know what network adapter I have as it isn't showing up besides under other devices with the generic network adapter name. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Finally found a driver for the wifi and am about to go test if it works, but wired connection is still not working.

More about : find compatible driver

All of the network adapters in your machine use generic chipsets/drivers, you just need to search for those.. this is probably your lan driver: http://www.realtek.com.tw/Downloads/downloadsView.aspx?...

you may find windows update picks up one for you.

Thank you so much. I realized after using the driver you linked that the ASUS website was having me install a downloader instead of letting me download the files. Should of taken the time to read the popup instead of rush through. Thank you so much.

For the wireless ethernet I used Urumiko's link and downloaded the right one for my OS. For the wired one wireless I found it but I can't remember where or how. You can use their site http://support.asus.com/download/options.aspx?SLanguage... and find your model. For mine it was http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&p=3&.... The only thing is the first time you try to download you're gonna have to install some downloading software (can't remember the name) and then download again after.

EDIT: Outside of correcting the typo, I think it was from this page I downloaded the wireless driver http://www.driverscape.com/manufacturers/asus/laptops-d...

Where did you find a driver for the USB interface, if you don't mind me asking? My single USB on the right of the computer works, but the USB 3.0 ones on the left side of the laptop do not. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
