Possible overheating while playing games?

I recently built my own computer and had no problems for the first month. I was able to play many games a good 50-60 fps. It was until yesterday that I started having problems. It kept shutting down/ going into some sort of sleep mode. I tried using furmark to see what temperature it can get to before it shuts off and it seems to be about 85-86 degrees Celsius. Please help!

I wasn't saying that it might be overheating it, I was just saying that it might be the part that might be causing the problems.
