So I'm looking to buy a good gaming PC. I have relatives that had purchased from ibuypower before, and decided to buy a PC from them as well. I'm not interested in building one from parts. Here's what I've got so far:

1 x Motherboard Gigabyte GA-X79-UP4 -- 4x PCI-E 2.0 x16
1 x Memory 16 GB [4 GB X4] DDR3-1600 Memory Module - G.Skill Ripjaws X
1 x Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 - 2GB - Single Card
1 x Power Supply 750 Watt - Thermaltake TR2 TRX-750M - Free Upgrade to 850 Watt Thermaltake SP-850M 80 PLUS Bronze ($30 Savings)
1 x Processor Cooling Asetek 550LC Liquid CPU Cooling System [SOCKET-2011] - ARC Dual Silent High Perfornamce Fan Upgrade (Push-Pull Airflow)
1 x Primary Hard Drive 256 GB ADATA SX900 SSD -- Read: 550MB/s ; Write: 530MB/s - Single Drive
1 x Data Hard Drive 1 TB HARD DRIVE -- 32M Cache, 7200 RPM, 6.0Gb/s - Single Drive
1 x 2nd Optical Drive None
1 x Optical Drive 24x Dual Format/Double Layer DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW Drive - Black - FREE upgrade to BLU-RAY Reader Combo Drive for Primary Optical Drive
1 x Sound Card 3D Premium Surround Sound Onboard

With everything including shipping, it's around 1700. Any help/feedback would really be appreciated.

get 8gb of ram, not 16, get a i54670k (for gaming, if you do a lot of other heavy work like video editing and photoshop get an i7-4770k not the one you have)

get a psu from antec, corsair, seasonic, xfx

is that a dedicated soundcard or on your motherboard?

I think it's on the motherboard. I didn't opt for any sound systems. Thanks for the advice, I'll make a few changes.

The PSU is junk. A 650w Antec, XFX, Corsair (not CX), XFX would be light years more appropriate and more reliable. The PSU is the most important part of a build.

As stated above, change the CPU to an i5 and get 8gb RAM. use the saved money to upgrade to a gtx780. This will drastically improve gaming performance.

I personally wouldn't touch iBUYPOWER or Cyberpower with a 10 foot pole. There's way better pre built companies you could go with, and there's way better systems you could get. There's no reason to get X79 for a gaming rig, and there's no reason to get a junk generic Asetek liquid cooling unit either.

What other sites would you suggest for pre-builts?

If you're insisting on a pre built, then Falcon Northwest or Origin, but otherwise none. The markups that are charged on those types of systems are flat out ridiculous and you can definitely build it yourself for cheaper.

The only real problem that's keeping me from building a PC myself is my lack of experience. I'd rather not get everything together and have it fail on me. I suppose that's not an excuse when I have all the knowledge I need, and help from others.

@AminWinsGaming I'll look into parts that I listed on pcpartpicker and go from there. I suppose it really is the best option.
