Hey guys, I have a couple questions to ask, and I didn't really know what tag to put it under, so I figured since I'm recording games, Video Games. Anyway first I'd like to start off saying I have a overkill rig but everytime I try to record a game with Fraps or DxTory and what not, it feels laggy and my screen tears, v-sync slightly helps the problem but since I like to play FPS games the mouse delay really throws me off, I can't figure out why it feels that way however I did realize these problems DID NOT occur with a 60hz monitor but only STARTED HAPPENING when I got a 120hz monitor. However Shadowplay fixed that problem for the most part. Next problem is I play a game in 1080p but Shadowplay is recording at 720p it use to record at 1080p fine but as of recently it's been doing 720p, no idea why. Also, when I would upload the footage from when I had a 60hz monitor to youtube it would be smooth, but, when I upload the footage from the 120hz monitor its choppy, this is the real issue. I can't go back to 60hz because it feels way too laggy, but I can't stand the laggy footage that gets uploaded to youtube. Can anyone help/tell me why? Sorry if this was really butchered I don't really know how to explain the problem. Also if you could use simpler terms it would be great, I'm not majorly techsmart, sorry.

try messing with your FRAPS and shadow play settings, I know that FRAPS has default settings at either 60 or 30 Hz I believe, so you might need to change it to match your monitors refresh rate, though I'm not sure if it even supports 120 Hz at all.

I've not been able to use Shadowplay (I don't have a 700 series Geforce), but I think you can mess with the shadowplay settings in Geforce Experience, so download that if you haven't already (it also has nifty things like driver checking and updating, changing game settings outside the game, etc)
