Bought skullcandy plyr 1 headset for pc gaming thinking the usb input would include mic and 7.1 surround. I found out the optical cable, which I thought was solely for consoles, manages the 7.1 and I don't have optical outputs on my motherboard and I don't have a sound card. I didn't know if there might be some kind of adapter I could get rather than buying a sound card with an optical output?
