Im trying to wrap my head around this the 770 classi is $485 the 780 sc is $509 I'm really between those two and I do not know what to buy, on one hand the 770 has faster clocks and 4gb the 780 has slower clocks and 3gb but most people lean on the 780 why is that? I don't plan on oc or water cooling I play on Asus 27 120hz 1920 x 1080,8gb ram, wins 8 64, I5 2500k oc to 4.5. Leaving the 670 sli behind I'm sick of dual card performance.

What should I get?

And that's the only 2 I'm looking for, don't wanna spend more the $500

Thanks

I have the EVGA GTX 780 ACX SC and it lets me max every game at 1920 x 1080. You might not be able to max AA in every title but trust me the card is an absolute beast and I have not even tried to overclock it yet because it's just has not been necessary. And I like to overclock! I've been too busy playing games to even bother.

The 4GB GTX 770 is actually slower than the 2GB version in regular gaming. The only reason to buy a 4GB model is for Sli it will help with higher resolutions.
