windows 7 or 8.1, maybe intel i3, switch 2x1TB to one 2TB drive and probably add a ssd

you should get a cheaper motherboard and do you need 2 separate hard drives? a single 2tb is cheaper than getting 2 others.

EDIT: Started typing before ^^^that post was made sorry for repeat, and i3 or fx would both work fine.

a system running two 7870s in Crossfire needs ~ 600W, but their recommendations don't take any overclocking into account. If you plan to overclock, I suggest adding 50-100W to the recommendation. Get a quality PSU from either Seasonic, XFX, Corsair (EXCEPT their CX series) or Antec.
