Is nvidia gtx 650i compatible with intel i3 540?
i would like to hv a graphics card of over 2500 pass mark.

It is compatible, but the core i3 would probably bottleneck it.

ok i see... i am using autodesk revit 2014,autodesk autocad 2014,3ds max 14 and i would like to use LUMION .
According to lumion , it need at least 1000 mark to render simple scene. and for moderate complex 2500. so i currently hv 2 gb ram.. i need to upgrade it into 8gb ram. so would it be fine if i stick onto nvidia 650i ? thanks in advance.

the ram will help but the best thing to do would be to upgrade your cpu. Your gpu's ram is also useful.

ok.. so are you suggesting a graphics card of nvidia gtx series and a ram of 2gb ddr5 would help? right?

gpu ram 2gb. then i guess the graphics would be a beast..
