[New build] The computer turns on automatically when the front power button is plugged into the motherboard

I've tried flipping the switch around, etc. It doesn't help. The computer doesn't turn on when the power button is unplugged, but it does power up when I short the pins on the motherboard. Also, there is no video output at all (when doing any of the above mentioned). Has anyone experienced this and know what to do? My motherboard is a gigabyte 78LMT-S2 with with a AMD Athalon 2 X4 630 CPU.

make sure all of the wires are good and also note the power button by the front of the case ( part of case which comes off..) has a wire which is not attached to the wire which leads to the mobo they come like that so it shouldnt rip make sure to connect the 2 wires together...
