Hey I was wondering if I'm gonna need any extra Sata or any cables to connect hdd and DVD drive in my pc.

I saw a few vids and it looks like I need to buy a smaller Sata to connect the hdd and doesn't come with it or the psu. And the connector power Sata comes with the psu for the DVD drive but it also needs a smaller ssata ?

You need 1 sata cable for each to go to your motherboard and 1 sata cable each from your psu to power them. I have never heard of hard drives or dvd drives using smaller sata cables. I don't even think there is such a thing as a smaller sata. Check the specks of both items to see how they are connected or post a link and I will look at it. :)

Sorry can't find the vid lol. Maybe it was older or something ?

I have a msi z87-g45 gaming mobo
Antec hcg 750w psu
Asus 24x DVD drive
And wd caviar blue 1tb Sata drive

Almost all motherboards come with sata cables if they are not used. One sata cable goes from your drive to your motherboard. Refer to your motherboard manual to see where it goes. There is also a sata cable that is attached to your psu that looks like the ones that came with your motherboard. You also plug that into the drive.

Hope this helps :)

If cables come with mobo and of course psu I should be ok though I don't know why they wouldn't give you the right cables.

Like ahmadjon said power will be with psu and Sata will be with mobo.

Thanks both of you!
