Ok, I have an LG 47LA6200 and in the manual it shows the use of DVI to hdmi and RCA to 3.5mm to sub for the audio connection. Now my current GPU has an HDMI output but it requires a S/PDIF cable for audio to go through it. As my motherboard does not have this port I decided to try and use the 3.5mm RCA option with the HDMI (Input/Output). Logically I thought they should work the same. Now here is what's happening with this. The audio will come from every single input except the port I have the HDMI plugged into (AV, Component, HDMI 2, HDMI 3) I have changed the HDMI to every HDMI input on my TV to no end. I have changed the input name on all inputs to PC. I have done everything but it will not put video on the same channel as audio for some odd reason, It will play audio from my pc to every other input (That doesn't have something plugged in) but not the one that has video any ideas to what the issue is?

Update, I was thinking in the back of my mind maybe HDMI to HDMI is reserving a line for audio since it has the ability to use audio so I busted out an old DVI to HDMI converter to no end. I am still experiencing these issues over DVI to HDMI, I have a tech scheduled to come look at it tomorrow if he ends up coming up with a solution I will post the results for any that are interested. However I don't think that I will get my answer from this person since the level of intelligence of LG staff thus far has been very poor. If anyone knows of any possible cause or solution please don't hesitate to put in your .02 it would be greatly appreciated.
Repost, I wasn't sure if I should post this here originally but since I received no replies in the home audio forum and the more I think about it, it more seems like a computer problem I figured I'd post here and see if anyone else here had similar issues.

Well the tech replaced the board to no ends, I have also opened a thread over at AVS as this hasn't resulted in any answers. Seems to me more of an issues with the original design of the TV, it is suppose to have this feature available (Advertised to work in the manual). So if you plan on doing a setup like this do not but the LG 47LA6200 Because the RCA to 3.5mm does not work!
