Hi, i have a Corsair AX850w 80+ gold rated power supply currently in my system. Until a week ago everything was good. I just added a second GTX 780 and am running them in SLI, and since then the problems have begun. Half the times my second card isn't detected at all. Sometimes a reboot or power off fixes it. Sometimes the SLI is detected but performance under load seems to cause massive lag, and running a benchmark gives me performance worse than running just a single 780. Rebooting at this point usually causes the second card to disappear once again. Here are my system specs :

Asrock z77 extreme11 motherboard
Intel i5 3570k CPU overclocked to 4.2
Corsair H100i CPU cooler
Corsair Vengeance ram 2x4gb (will be upgrading to some gskill 2133 c9 ram 4x4gb sticks shortly)
Asus GTX 780 Direct CU II oc edition graphics card x 2 (SLI)
Asus Xonar Essence STX PCI-e soundcard
Samsung 840pro 256gb SSD
9 x hard drives, a couple green ones maybe but the rest are regular drives
1 optical DVD +rw
3 internal case fans and 2 radiator fans
1 logitech c905 webcam

I have a feeling the power supply might be out of juice, or should an 850w psu be able to handle all this? If not, should i upgrade to the Seasonic SS-1000XP 1000W or Seasonic SS-1250XM 1250W Power Supply? Assuming price is the same for them, one gives platinum efficiency and the other gold, but with an extra 200w headroom. I also plan on adding another 3 hard drives in the next 6 months or so to make it 12 mechanical drives in total.

Thanks in advance for your inputs

seems like there could be an issue, lol. How accurate are these things?
