Hi guys,

I was wondering what would be the best graphics card I could get for playing at 720p. I do not want to upgrade until 2-3 years. The games I will be most likely playing are Battlefield 4, GTA 5 and other FPS game.

My budget is tight around USD150

Note that my pc spec is:

CPU = Intel Xeon E3-1230v3
RAM = 8GB Kingston 1600Mhz
HDD = Normal Seagate 3.5inch 120GB

Thank you for any suggestions.

r9 270 non-x is really all I got. Or a HD 7870 on the cheap. May I ask why you got that cpu without a gpu?

If you can increase your budget by a bit I would suggest you get an R9 270 (non X), like this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

With this you will be really fine for those games.

If not, take a step below with an R7 260x:

If you want to look for nvidia, a GTX 660 can be also a good option but with Battlefield 4 and mantle optimizations, I think these mid range gpu could benefits some good performance improvements.

720p you say?
GTX 750Ti on only 60 watts of power and runs on a 300 watt power supply and can push 1080p at low to medum settings in new titles and will push high settings at 720p no problem.

or as others have stated the R9 270 is good too

For anybody looking in the future with this issue
