Contact the three major credit reporting agencies/Bureaus. File a Police Report. Talk to your bank in person, and let them know. Report this also to your credit card company. Cancel all breached Credit Cards/Debit Cards. Three credit Bureaus, you need to contact; http://www.equifax.com/cs/Satellite/EFX_Content_C1/1162298957492/5-1/5-1_Layout.htm http://www.transunion.com/corporate/personal/consumerSupport/help/contactUs.page and http://www.experian.com/corporate/personal-services-contacts.html, go to the contact us, and talk to them...

i'm not exactly sure, like you say how it might have happened, but only several days after the hcking incident was noticed on my computer, a $221.96 charge was made to my credit card in Poland.

As to the hardware side of things, are other people that are on the same network as me ALSO in danger of having THEIR identity stolen as well?

it seemed to have gotten past my notice.

i'll have to stand a more vigilant watch next time so that this doesn't happen again.
