As the title suggests I am thinking of putting a Kraken G10 on my GTX 670 but from what I understand it has a short PCB
you can see it Here

What I was wondering is will the fan that's supposed to be cooling the VRM will be just hanging off the edge looking ugly and doing nothing? On the back of the card you can see that the PCB is short and a large chunk of the GPU'S length is the cooler
Look Here
Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Jack,
As it looks I would hold off with the G10 to start with as the PCB is so short and the cooler is built for bigger PCBs.

Maybe a support ticket with NZXT would be worth while?

Hi Yes it does fit. I have fit one on my GTX 660 OEM (gk104) which uses the same PCB :)

Cheers man, any chance of a picture from the top? Does the fan hang over the PCB? It's good that I can keep the heat sink on the VRM so what I might do is make a bracket that holds the fan on the other side.

Sure!

As you can see I bought some small Ram heatstinks that just stick on the ram chips too.

I wouldnt worry too much, it doesnt weigh any more than the reference cooler, and feels solid even with the overhang.

With the G10 + cooler you can overclock these like crazy. I fully recommend using KGB (Kepler golden bios unlocker), NVFLASH and Kepler bios tweeker, as you can get a lot more performance by raising the boost clock, power target, vram speed and voltage. Ive managed to get around 35% more performance in Unigine Valley 1.0 benchmark with all this :)  Ive basically managed stock 660ti/760 performance from a card that I picked up for £82 + £29.99 for the G10 (I already had the H55 from before).

Just to add. Idle temps are around 25'c (20'c ambient) Hitting around 50'c if I leave Valley running for 30mins (full GPU load).
