Let me give as much information as I can. The desktop was working fine until I started cleaning up the unused stuff in the system. I uninstalled AutoCAD 2002, Grabit, Snarfer(newsreader) and Go to Meeting.com . Since then I have not been able to browse at all. I called my ISP and I am able to ping anywhere both with IP and name. I can use my laptop with ease on the same RL-45 connection. The light on my NIC card is blinking. I have changed the internet protocol TCPIPv4 to obtain automatically and to use the static IP and DNS server, back and forth. Using 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. I can also ping both. The netbios is set to default. Using Google Chrome I get the normal "webpage is not available" (as with all browsers) I have an option to Reload and More. Reload does nothing, more says unable to lookup google.com, ERROR Code DNS_PROBE _POSSIBLE.
I have ran my AVG virus, Malwarebytes, Spybot2, CCCleaner and only a very small amount of stuff was found. Presently the firewall is off and the antivirus is disabled/paused. Still no browsers will allow me to surf the net.
I need help.....

Well I stopped by the local PC store to buy a NIC card. Talked to the salesman relayed my story and he gave me a coupe of ideas to try. I deleted my free anti virus, no help. Pulled up the command prompt, ran as administrator,
Typed in "netsh winsock reset" pressed enter, rebooted the Computer and it was back to normal.
