Hello experts,

I have an old custom system and I would like to change its insides, keeping if possible the case, PSU and HD.

This is the list I came up with:
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($228.99 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: Scythe SCMG-4000 79.0 CFM CPU Cooler ($45.24 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($170.99 @ NCIX US)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($86.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($164.96 @ B&H)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card ($249.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $947.16
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

Approximate Purchase Date: Beginning of March

Budget Range: around 800$-1.000$

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, surfing the web

Are you buying a monitor: No

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: http://www.computersalg.dk/

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark.

Parts Preferences: No.

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080.

Additional Comments:
No mouse or keyboard included. I have an old optical drive, but probably I will not install it since I'm not using it at all.
As I said I would like (if possible) to keep a few of my beloved old PC parts:
Case: LIAN LI PC-7B plus II (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112099)
PSU: Tagan TG530-U15 (http://www.trustedreviews.com/opinions/power-supply-group-test-2005_Page-10).
Storage: Seagate HD 500GB SATA-300

Of course I could change any of them if there are good reasons to do it. I normally keep the PC shutdown when not using it, and it was not used at all for 2 years, so the Tagan should still be OK I guess.

- Will my Tagan 530W (TG530-U15) be capable of handling all new components?

Why Are You Upgrading: Be ready to handle current games. Want a less noisy PC.

Thanks,
N.

Well, after some more thought I guess this setup is better/cheaper since I'm not going to overclock the system:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H87-D3H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($99.24 @ Amazon)

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card ($259.98 @ SuperBiiz)

The only question I have is: do I need an aftermarket fan or the stock one is fine?
