I want to build using an Asus z87-Pro board with an Intel Core i5-4570 CPU and 8GB memory. Must I use memory from the Asus QVL to be assured it will work? Am thinking 2133 or 2400 with C 9 or 10. Figure this will allow upgrade to better CPU and more memory later when budget allows.
Will only Qualified Vendor List memory work in a motherboard?
