Ok so for my birthday i bought the Mars blue gaming pc pre built with

Gigabyte F2A55M-HD2, Quad Core AMD FM2 A10 6800K 4.1ghz Quad Core, 4.1 Ghz
8gb crucial ballistix DDR3 1600mhz Performance Ram, HDD 1tb Western Digital WD10EZEX Sata 6Gb/s 64mb Cache 7200rpm, Graphics Card Onboard AMD Radeon HD 8670D.

I was given a new graphics card (Radeon Sapphire 7870) but it is 1cm too long for my case as my HDD bay gets in the way.

Should i cut a small piece out to allow it to fit or what are my options?

Thanks

Only cut the HDD bay if there is no other way and you are confident doing so. Check to make sure that the bay can't be unscrewed or removed in any way.

Short of getting a different case for your parts I do not see any other way if the card is really to long.

Strip it down, dremel the offending area, clean out every last scrap of metal fillings, reinstall and play.

It's not that hard, just play safe.
