This is my first time building a gaming PC. i think i have done a fine job so far. i booted it up for the first time and noticed that my cpu is at 53.5 temp and it seems to be steadily going up. I assume this is because of the fans now being on, but i can not seem to find which plug it is for the fans. on top of that, i have no idea how to do any of the bios settings. Basically now I am lost.

The stock coolers are a bad joke. The Arctic Silver thermal compound will help you, but it can only do so much. If I were you I'd get an aftermarket cooler on your 4770K. The chip will need it as it runs hotter by design.

As for plugins, case fans should plug into SYSFAN headers, and CPU fans are coupled with CPUFAN headers. Both located in various spots on the motherboard. There are usually between 1 and 2 CPUFAN headers, and 3-4 SYSFAN headers.
