Best monitor for GTX 760

Going to be upgrading my monitor and was wanting something that would work with my gtx 760. Im currently using a samsung monitor with 1600 x 900 display so anything im sure will be better. I mainly play fps games and I'm looking to spend around $400 - 450. I've looked at benq xl2420te/z and eizo foris fs2333 but my main concern is will my gpu handle 120/144mhz decently and would it be able to run 1440p? Any input or suggestions would be great.

yes it will handle high refresh rates
But, I find my 760 to be only just adequate at 1080 on some titles, ie AC4 to name one
likewise, 3d on recent titles might struggle
I'm actually thinking about a HD+ monitor of some kind, and i am resigned to the fact i want more GPU behind it before i bit that bullet
