Looking to build a gaming PC, with the ability to OC, and last a good couple years with the ability to upgrade parts, graphics cards, along the way.

This is going to be basically a new start computer wise. Going to get new monitors and everything. Also thinking about adding a 2nd GTX 780 down the line.

I have some case lighting in there, however I have never put any in. If what I have listed is not any good can anyone recommend anything better. I am going for a green look.

Thank you in advance.

I would prefer this list but without the Liquid cooler :

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($228.99 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme 81.3 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($94.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Asus Z87-PRO ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($179.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($76.50 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($145.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($93.09 @ Amazon)
Video Card:...
I would get windows 8.1 for sure.

Looks pretty good otherwise. Everyone will tell you get an i5 but if you are willing to pay the extra money for no immediate performance gain, in hopes of gains down the road, the i7 is fine.

You really don't need a full tower case for a build like this even with a second gtx780. I always recommend normal mid-tower cases unless going for a custom water loop or 3-way SLI.

The case lighting you selected is decently large and bulky and will be hard to get to look clean. I personally would go for LED fans or LED strips as they are much easier to manipulate.

I would prefer an air cooler(CM's Hyper 212 Evo), crazy OCers or 3/4 way SLI needs a liquid cooler, and it has the risk of leaking too.

I still prefer WIN 7 Ultimate 64bits.

Samsung Pro 840 will be a better choice for SSD.

And I would go for a 2TB HDD from Seagate.

Ok so I took what you guys said and changed the HDD to 2TB and changed to LED lighting to a strip from NZXT.
I also update the graphics card so that it and the monitors are both compatible with hdmi 1.4b instead of 1.2

I prefer WIN 7 to WIN 8. and I wanted to stick with the full tower case, just because I like the way it looks, im ok with having a bit larger of a case.

I assume you are trying to do some record overclocks? That's what that board is for. Otherwise it is a complete and total waste of money and a $150 board would do everything exactly the same.

I would also change the CPU cooler for a good air cooler like the Noctua NH-D14. This will also make less than half the noise the watercooler will make.
