Hi guys,
I am looking for some advice on the optimum configuration for the following household devices
1 TV upstairs (USB enabled)
1 TV downstairs (USB enabled)
1 x Apple TV upstairs
1 x Sky TV downstairs (Sky enabled)
1 x PS3 downstairs
1 x Sky Box upstairs (Purely Freeview enabled)
2 x daily use laptops
2 x spare/old laptops
2 x spare/old netbooks
1 x iPad
3 x iPhone
It sounds like a lot of kit but most of it was ex-work stuff I never had to give back or from my previous business.
At present I simply just download content I want and transfer via USB to the TV for the family to watch.
I wondered if there was a really good home networking project in here somewhere?
Should I centralise all content on a dedicated home laptop and then stream everything to the PS3? I don't mind putting Linux on 1 or more of the computers.
Thoughts?
