Im looking for a i5 cpu for my computer that costs around 200, and should I get hyper threading? I plan to play lots of mmos on this computer and stream. Also how is this onehttp://t.tigerdirect.com/products/8526351

It is hard to say which particular games would benifit from HT but some do indeed. BF3 shows some gains. Point is if your are going to run mmos, HT may improve performance. It would all depend on whether they are multi threaded heavily and when two threads do not call the same cpu resources.

Your fiend's advice is pretty much something almost everyone goes with and it is a sound advice considering that presently games have yet to utilize all 4 cores effectively. Some of the latest most demanding games still are more gpu tied/dependent than cpu at 900/1080 resolutions (the cpu load increases as resolution drops)

If you are building a machine solely for mmos and streaming and want to use the hardware for 4-5 years, you can't go wrong...

If it's gaming the 4670 is the best bet. Go for K version if you intend to overclock. Though,if you need hyperthreading you could take a look at the Xeon as well.
If it's i5, then go for Haswell. If you plan to get the Xeon, I'd suggest getting the ivy Xeon E3 1230 V2 since that's what yor budget can afford. Haswell Xeons are a little bit costly than the ivys.
