Basically i'm scared my stock power supply of the X51 R2 won't be compatible with the graphics cards in the market. I want to buy a "GTX 760 2GB or better video card under $330 But it looks like it needs at least 500Watts of power. Now what I don't get is how Dell uses the "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Ti 2 GB GDDR5" with 330w in their configurations. Does anyone have any suggestions when upgrading from a GTX 645 card?.... OR even alternative cards that are 2GB and Nvidia that might work inside my machine?

suggestions on cards would be helpful.. There are so many card manufacturers that use the GTX 760 I don't know which is which. THANKS!

Solution
Since you are not an OEM(dell), you going to buy the regular GTX 760.
a 2GB should work, but can't guarantee, and make sure it is not overclock from the manufacturer. check to see if it use the standard base clock 980

how does Dell offer a 760 in their configurations then? If I needed to upgrade the power supply, could I? I heard to save on space the charger has a build in power supply?

you can upgrade your video card too the highest and latest version in retail nowadays. but, you have to put your video card outside of your tower and leave the case open or mod it to get a slot for this. PCI-Express PCI-E 16X Riser Ribbon Extender Cable w/Molex + Solid Capacitor (30cm). and you have to upgrade your PSU ofc. 330w on CPU and different PSU on the desired Video Card you want.

THANK YOU ALL, I Basically ordered this model over the weekend and I wanted to be ready for it prior to it shipping. long story short, Dell screwed up my order and I ended up being so mad I canceled it after being on hold for over 3 hours. They can go F@!#$!K themselves! I just ended up building my pc. purchased an ASUS MAXIMUS VI HERO, Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB 1600 MT/s DDR3, 256GB 840 pro SSD & 1TB 7200rpm 2.5", PNY 4GB GeForce GTX 770 OC, Noctua NH-D14 cpu cooler, Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound, Samsung Optical Drive SH-224DB/BEBE, i7 4770K 3.5GHZ, Seasonic SS-760XP2 ATX, ASUS VE247H LCD, & to keep all this I got a CM Storm Scout 2 Advanced mid tower.. All for under $1600. I spent more than I wanted, but I was so mad at Dell, I didn't care. This is my first build but I believe I got great components. Now I am reading like crazy and watching youtube videos to learn how to set it up all. Any learning material people can suggest?

I put a GTX 760 in mine. I bought the Nvidia reference model and put it in, its 300# at Best Buy. Worked first time and I do have the 330w power supply. I had the GTX 645 in mine as well. I have the X51 R2 w/ i7 4770, 8gb Ram, 1TB HD and now the GTX 760. Did it couple monthes ago and have had zero problems and the games just look amazing. I easily get 60FPS on High to some Ultra at 1080p. I love my X51 and would and will never buy another gaming console or PC. Also this was my first desktop PC ever and my first time replacing anything in a computer. My only gripe is that the 2 6pin power connectors are annoying. You need to undo some zip ties that hold them on the way opposite side of the card. You'll see what I'm talking about when you do it.
