Bristles or dust stuck in cpu pins

I used a very soft brush dipped in alcohol to try and get out some thermal grease, the grease is 100% gone now but there is some dust or some bristles from the brush tangled in the cpu pins, ive cleaned the majority of them out but there is still a few that are stuck and i was wondering what kind of damage this could do to my cpu.

The soft soft bristles from the soft brush are relatively small and fine not big or tough, the brush isnt esd resistant or is it a tootbrush, its a generic brush i got ages ago with an electric shaver but i havent used it for any purpose other than to get dust off of some surfaces on my tv, mouse and keyboard.

I dont have any of that around and i tried blowing on the cpu pins but no matter what it doesnt budge, its like its tangled or what not on the pins.

Would the bristles cause any damage?

Blowing on the pins is probably counterproductive. Your breath has a lot of moisture in it and moisture is not what you want on your CPU pins. My suggestion stands. Compressed air. Do not install the CPU. You will wind up with debris in the socket which is MUCH harder to clean.

Trust me i made sure that my breath lacked moisture, i was dry when i was blowing the pins.

If your breath came out of your lungs and past your mouth it wasn't dry. I've told you what I would do. It sounds to me like your asking permission to put the CPU into the socket with visible debris embedded in the pins. You won't get that from me.

Would any type of canned air do?

if its tangled, use a pair of tweezers and GENTLY and VERY CAREFULLY try to clean it out if the compressed air doesnt work.

Yes any compressed air will do.

That said, moisture doesn't matter, its the crap in your mouth that gets on the cpu. You can soak your cpu in clean water if you want, as long as its dry (water can potentially get under the lid, so dont do this haha) before you apply current nothing will happen.
