Im going to upgrade my PC , so i have some questions.(Sry for my bad english)
My current specs: I7 2600k(Stock cooler , asus p8 h67 M LX , hd 6850......
But i dont know if it is better to get some cheaper card(Like gtx 770) and take z77 Mobo , water cooling for i7 , better case , more fans etc , or just take r9 290x and go with current specs.

Solution
If I was in your position, due to the price of the r9 290x at the moment, I would buy a new cooler for your cpu, something like the coolermaster hyper 212 evo, or xigmatek dark knight II, and then purchase the gtx 780. It will be overall cheaper than the other build, your cpu will run at a much better temperature, and your performance will greatly increase.

In my honest opinion, you dont need to OC. It does increase performance, but not by leaps and bounds. The extra heat output is not worth it based on your current setup.
