Hi everyone
I have been given a dell poweredge 840 server and trying to wipe it and use it as a desktop PC. When I put my co boot disc in it does everything correctly from formatting and downloading the files from the cd but when It comes to boot after reset to load Xp the system says not boot device available!!!!
I went into the bios and it's recognises the cd rom and hdd in each IDE drive but in the boot sequence it's only states the cd rom and not the hdd!!!!
I don't know how to get the hdd onto the boot sequence but I think that's the problem.
Hope some knows how to fix
