Background about myself i live in dallas and i have micro center, fry, best buy, tiger direct etc.... pretty much close where i live so it doesn't bother me to go and pick up the items. I have question about warranty and the extended warranty for the items that you buy at store. This is my first custom desktop so i would like a lot of info and i would like to say thank you in advance for you time as well.
Im looking to make a desktop that can pretty much play 1080p with high setting or ultra. games i currently play is rome total war 2, and i just recently stop playing gw2 because i am waiting for elder scroll online to come out in april. I would like to play ESO in high or ultra setting and hopefully minimal lag when pvping.

Looking for i7 intel
nvidia gtx 770 and above( if gtx770 is more than enough then that is fine)http://www.microcenter.com/site/brands/intel-processor-bundles.aspx
the i7 4770k has a bundle for motherboard i would like the wifi one but if somebody find something better i would take as well. (i need option)
also the i7 4770k is that good or should i pay the 20 more for the 4780k? i would just like to have the one that i need.
http://www.microcenter.com/product/426344/SSDNow_V300_SV300S37A_240GB_SATA_60Gb-s_25_Solid_State_Drive_(SSD)_with_SandForce_Controller
240g SDD for boot software 129
also want to put in another drive a hdd 1tb for storage for movies, photo, etc....also would like some guidance of how to set up 2 drives and how i can place my saved information in each place.( I'm assuming that when i set up the bios and the os window(window7, window8 will be fine, whatever will work the hardware) you will just right click or save to the drive when the bios read it?
case
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/fractal-design-case-fdcadefr4blw
i was recommended that case i like it going to go check it out after school today. going to school for computer science so i know something but not enough yet. still learning
ram I'm thinking 8g to 32g whatever will work for the desktop eventually i will max it out so anywhere from 8 to 32g will be fine and that fits in my budget.
like i said new to this i want to know about brands. like which brands are good which one should i stay away from should i get the warranty at the store or just use the warranty that the brand comes with?

this is what i have so far so if somebody can give a list with pcpartpicker and verified that everything is compatible i be building this desktop tonight hopefully :)

srry if i went back and forth I'm typing this really quickly because i have to get ready for class but i will reply with my phone when i get a email of a response.
budget 1500-2000 would like to stay at 1500 and overtime get the rest later.
again thank you guys

I still recommend the build I submitted earlier. To answer a few of your questions though the i7 4770k is going to be just fine. It has plenty of power for anything you want to do, Also with the two drives: They will be named differently inside of windows. (C drive, D drive) When you download a program simply put it onto whichever drive the SSD is. As far as the case goes, this is actually the same one I have. It comes with two very quite fans. The case itself is wider than a traditional midtower, and is much heavier. With the ram, if you are going to max it out eventually I would start off with 16gb (2x8gb). Corsair is a good brand for ram, as are patriot, mushkin, and crucial.

just got back from micro center price came out more than 1500 it went to about 1800
intel i7 4770k 249.99
gigabyte ga-z87x-ud4h atx 149.99
crucial 16g 2x8 d3 1866 dimm 119.99
corsair hydro h1001 liquid co 119.99
kdi 240gb 2.5 v300 sata 3 129.99
wd 1tb 3.5 mainstrm hd 7200 56.69
evga gtx770 2gb d5 ddhdp ack 374.99
fractal definer4 atx cse blk 119.99
corsair rm650 fm 80+g sp1 99.99
still need optical drive(blue ray)

i look up video how to do the hyrdo liquid so its no problem. went to micro saw the case the fractal look legit, its sturdy and like you said its big and heavy.
so all of this rounds up to 1800 anyway can we make it cheaper? or this is the best it is going to get? one more IMPORTANT question what os should i put window 7 or window 8 cause at micro center they both cost the same 99.99. so which one do i go with? also I'm buying everything at store no thru shipping if its a big discount without mailing rebate then yea i might consider it but i don't mind driving to micro, fry, best buy, tiger direct, etc in dallas forth area. another question is the mother board this one i think is the next one up. does it matter? or stick with the other one or something else? thank you

Thats a great price for the CPU. Almost $100 cheaper than what I paid for mine. As far as the price, where did you get $1800? After I added everything up I got $1521.61. The h100i is $10 cheaper at newegg, same goes for the case. You can save $5 if you get the gpu from newegg as well. Other than that micro center has great pricing, I never realized it. Its a shame they don't have them around here, only stupid bestbuy.

also another 99.99 if i wanted it micro center to build it for me and 136.26 on taxes total came out at 1787.85 and but I'm going to build it on my own for the experience so minus 99.99. which equal 1687.56 plus i still need to add a blue ray disk and probably a external wifi which comes out a little over 1700. It is still in my budget because what i am using to type this is a macbook pro i paid about 1700 or so for the 13 inch with 256 ssd and 8 gp of ram but i am returning it because I'm going to buy a iMac for my fiancé the 21 inch with a gt nvidia card which will cost me about 2000. reason i bought the macbook pro was for school but no point of having 2 macs when my fiancé wants a mac as well. so I'm exchanging mine for the iMac 21 inch I'm just paying the 500 or so difference and tomorrow i be getting this hardware. it is still in my budget :). also should i go with windows 7 or window 8 i read some review and many state that the mother sometimes gives out error codes for window 7 but runs flawlessly on window 8. should i go with window 8 and upgrade to 8.1?
again thank you jrlawson for this it looks like a great setup. Also do you have this setup as well? because if you do i msg you if i run into trouble setuping it i already look up the video of how to set up the hydro liquid and to test out everything before i set it into the case. i will post pictures when it done.

My setup is a 4770k at 4ghz, 16 the ram, h100i, fractal design define r4 w/ window, msi mpower z87 mobo, and corsair rm750. I'll be glad to answer any questions you have, and please don't forget to select a solution if you have not already.

on mine you gave me a corsair rm650 in which you got a rm750. is the rm650 enough and also where do you go to check how much you need to power up ur desktop? also on the h100i did u place that on top of the case or did u remove the stock fan and place the h100i on the back? also final question what do you use window 7 or 8?

I gave you the rm650 because it is plenty of power. I bought mine on sale so it was actually the same price as the rm650. Also the h100i must go on top because it is 240mm long. I uses 2 120mm fans side by side. I use windows 8.1 because Microsoft isn't updating DirectX for windows 7. It's the way of the future whether we like it or not.
