So I just got the new Virgin Superhub 2 I set it up and everything connects fine but for some reason I'm getting the full speed through the wifi on my xbox/phone/laptop but my desktop which is wired straight to the router is only getting 3mbps max and 0.05 upload.

So I set it up into router mode and plugged in my old linksys which worked for a time but after about an hour will always disconnect sporadically. I called the Virgin engineer out and he replaced most of the wires and even some of the stuff out in the box in the street but had the same conclusion with wireless fine and desktop not.

It works limitedly Im writing this on my desktop but if I try to do anything more than surf reddit or other low bandwidth required things it will disconnect.

I know it is capable of working because for a time I had the computer running at over 50mbps and when I plugged directly into the modem it was fine but obviously only I could use it and nobody else then.

The other strange thing is when the laptop was plugged in via wire it seemed to work fine so it leads me to suggest I have some settings or drivers incorrectly setup.

I'm using a Windows 7 64bit PC

I should probably mention that I'm not that good with tech so if you do have a suggestion can you please explain simply :)
