Installing Win7 on alternate computer then transfer to another comp.

So I have a laptop that has a busted CD/DVD reader and cannot read my Win7 installation disk, so is it possible for me to install Win7 on a desktop computer temporarily then transfer the Hard drive to the laptop?

Sorry but this is not possible. The OS is linked to many components of a pc and therefore simply transferring windows between computers in not possible. My recommendation is to buy an external CD/DVD drive and plug it in via USB and go to bios of the laptop and change boot order so that the external drive comes first. Then you can simply go through the setup process. Hope this helped.
