i5 3570k bottleneck?

Will a gtx 780 ti bottleneck a i5 3570 or will the cpu bottleneck the gtx 780?

@ 1080p and a single monitor, a 780 ti is useless. Unless you're running 120hz @ 1440p+ then it will be used properly. So it really depends on your setup. Most likely your cpu will bottleneck your gpu during most gaming. But if you're overclocking the 3570k, its really going to be splitting hairs.

pfft sometimes it takes a 780 ti to max out a game 60+ fps even at 1080p. Like ubersampling witcher 2 for example.



The 3570k is enough to feed the beast - might need to overclock the cpu though for some games -.

"useless" was not a very good word to use. Overkill maybe...

The i5 3570k is strong enough for any one or two video cards out there.
