Hi everyone, im setting up my new build and i was wondering if my PSU will be enough power for my components.

PSU: 660w Platinum

CPU: i5-2500k (probably will oc to 4.0 - 4.4)
GPU: MSI gtx 780 OR Gtx 770??
Cooling: swift tech h320
RAM: Cosair Dominator Platinum 1866 (2 x 4gb)
MOBO: z77 mpower
SSD: samsung 840 pro 128 gb
HDD: WD caviar green 1TB
SSD: OCZ agility 90gb

Really? when you say "cant really overlock" do you mean i cant achieve high oc rates? i thought most z77 mobo are good for OC. If not, then should i just purchase a new chip lol?



 


Don't worry. You definitely can overclock on that Z77 chipset motherboard.

If you move to a Z87 chipset LGA 1150 socket motherboard you will also have to change the CPU that you're buying since they use a different socket type.

You can overclock on Z77, but Z87 is more fit for overclocking and you will get higher clocks.
