Will this setup work?(GTX 770 sli, AMD FX-8350...)Need answers ASAP

So I am doing a little bit of upgrading to my pc, and don't want to spend to much, and I was worrying if all of these parts are good, and won't bottleneck anything.

GPU: PNY GeForce GTX 770 2GB Video Card(x2 for sli) http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/983684-REG/pny_technologies_vcggtx7702xpb_geforce_gtx_770_2gb.html

CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor http://us.ncix.com/products/?usaffiliateid=1000031504&sku=76932&vpn=FD8350FRHKBOX&manufacture=AMD

MOBO: ASRock 970 EXTREME4 ATX AM3+ Motherboard http://www.microcenter.com/product/382952/970_Extreme4_Socket_AM3_970_ATX_AMD_Motherboard

PSU: XFX 850W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=XFX-850S&c=CJ

The parts I currently have is one PNY GTX 770 2GB Video Card, AMD A6-3600, 6GB DDR3 1333 ram, and my OS is Windows 7 64bit Home Premium. I don't know what motherboard,PSU, or any other parts. Also is it possible for my ram to bottleneck any of the parts? I would really appreciate your guys help, since I am new to PC. I am mainly just worried about the MOBO since i've heard that it's sort of a last generation board.

  1. Don't worry about bottlenecks. Watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAgpvWc4VBM. Everything will work fine.
  2. Unless you are going to be using a monitor with a resolution greater than 1080p or using multiple monitors I would not worry about going SLI as a single GTX 770 can handle any game just fine at 1080p with no problems.

I am hoping to get 2 more monitors next year so that's one of the reasons I want to SLI
  4. Also if you are wondering what my monitor is it is BenQ 1ms delay 144hz 24inch 1080p

It should... the FX8350 should not bottleneck with the GTX 770 on SLI, and if you feel like it did, adding a beefier cooler and OC'ing it should do the trick....

Also, just a single consideration: Try to get one of the 990 FX instead.

Do you think the MOBO is a good choice?
