I have this motherboard: ASRock P67 EXTREME4 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel. The USB inputs and PS2 inputs all fried (after about 4 years constant use) so it is pretty much useless now since I cannot use mouse/keyboard. I want to replace it but it is very hard to find now. I found this one on newegg: MotherboardASRock P67 PRO3 SE LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard. Will my windows 7 install recognize this motherboard without a OS reinstall? I have some very expensive software installed on this machine (some of which I would not be able to install again) so it is imperative that I do not lose the software. The only difference when looking at specs is the LAN. I have a job to finish next week so I need this problem solved ASAP. Thanks so much in advance.
Are these motherboards similar enough to take same OS install?
