Have Custom Built From 2011, Want To Upgrade

Hi, I have a custom build from 2011 with some outdated parts that I want to replace.

Processor: Intel core I5 650 3.20 dual core

Memory: 8 gb

Motherboard : all I know is that it is a LGA1156

PSU : ??StarTracker?? 600w

GPU: GeForce GTS250

Case: I have no idea

OS: windows 7 home premium

Budget: 600

I don't have the option to buy a new build but I can upgrade parts

Question: What exactly do you wish to do with the build, gaming, productivity, graphics rendering etc, any anything specific you could mention about the case (brand or type ( atx, matx, mitx, tower, etc)) would be helpful. also what memory. if you have trouble, free prog called speccy from piriform.com will give you a bunch of info as to brands, sizes, specs etc. Do you have a cpu cooler? Do you plan on overclocking? The more info you give us, the more we can help you.

Id say wait it out until the new stuff is released this year and get some of the older tech like an ivy i5. Sell your old rig for some parts cash (keep the storage drives) and use the cash for parts.

I don't know what ram it is it doesnt say but I will be doing light gaming such as falcon and war thunder, editing and rendering with Sony Vegas pro 12 and doing schoolwork.

No overclocking yet
